DEMOCRATS WANT TEA PARTY TO FORM 3RD PARTY MOVEMENT

Stop and think. The American people are fed up with both political parties. We want something better; however, third party candidates for 2010 or 2012 will play right in the hands of the Democrats. Remember Ross Perot. He was the reason the Democrats won the Presidency. Our time will come in 2016. Our best bet for 2010 is the Republican Party. The National Tea Party leadership needs to communicate with the NRP in Washington and give the Executive Board some of the facts of life if they expect to win across the board in 2010 and 2012. This is no time for emotional miscalculations that will play into the hands of the far left, for we shall surely lose and watch the destruction of our democracy.

    The Republican Party needs to sit down with the Teaparty, we don’t need to lose against the dems. this year because of the Teapaarty having a third Candidates, but the Rep’s need to have strong Ronald Reagan conservative ideas. Can’t be progressive in the rep. party. Smaller and less government, less taxes, and less regulations. The Country can only work if the government stays out of the way!

    As long as we do NOT run a candidate for executive offices, I think a third party is a good idea. If there are Tea Party members in Congress and state legislatures, the Republicans will have to take the Tea Party seriously. Better than the lip service they have been paying so far.

    You will lose with a front runner like Sarah Palin! She can’t even answer simple questions from Katie Couric. Even Bush Bag could do that!

    Think about the out come of your movemnet. 1. you will move the republicans farther to the right. 2. shut the Dem’s out. 3. Put the country into more of a downward spiral because you are a bunch of renegades that have no plan. no outline. no leader. no right.

    My concern is that Sarah Palin, a neoconservative is attempting to highjack the national tea party by getting airtime from Fox news and CNN. The media is givimg the American public the impression she is now the face of the tea party. We need to get rid of the traders in our ranks. There are more highly qualified individuals that can lead a 3rd party ( how about Mitt Romney, Ron Paul, or even Newt Gingrich for starters) and force moderate Republicans and Reagan Democrats to break ranks from their party to get leverage. The 2 parties must be shaken at the grass roots. In Texas, we need to make sure Medina gets elected governor!

    I feel like we’re in quite a spiral now.

    To me, the movement is less about party affiliation, and more about:
    * standing up for solid conservative values
    * holding elected officials accountable to the Constitution (which would take care of many of the other points of what this movement means to me)
    * reduction (not freezing) of government spending
    * elimination of a multitude of special interest projects
    * expansion of US natural resources research/utilization
    * audit of the Federal Reserve
    * and so on…

    If that fits more naturally with the Republican party, then so be it? If the blue dog Dems were to reinvent themselves to support this Patriotic movement, I would certainly vote for them over a “Progressive” Republican doing the same ol song and dance.

    A third party is the only way to go because the republican party has lost the trust of the american people, we voted for smaller gov. how many times? we voted for bush twice even though we new he was a moderate and look at how ficaly responsable that worked out. here in mass we voted a republican gov into office only to get mandated health care. why should the tea party want to be part of that?
    who is going to trust them again?
